To be successful in this course, you must keep up with the readings, online video lectures, and other course materials and activities.

One of the course objective is to improve students’ knowledge and ability to identify both normal child development and how trauma can impact children at different developmental stages

The groups will be randomly assigned on the first day of class and cannot be altered or switched except for reasons of extended hospitalization or extended illness. 

Each quiz is worth 10 points and is to be completed by Friday, at 11:59 p.m., during the week that they are assigned. Students will not be able to make up a missed quiz except for a medical reason for you or an immediate family member and with a physician’s note. 

All assignments can be turned in late; however, they are subject to a 10 percent late penalty for each day late.
