Work Submission, Make-Up and Late Work Policies  Submission Method: Students must submit assignments as Word documents via Canvas. Submissions through links, apps, email, or any other methods will not be graded. Use of Turnitin This course uses “Turnitin” for some reading assignments to avoid plagiarism. This software evaluates student’s submition and sends a report in percentage. If a report returns a similarity over 20 %, a deduction of points will apply. Only 20% or less of similarity is permitted without penalty.  For example, if a report returns a 30 % of similarity, only 20% is permitted without deduction, the difference (30-20=10) will be multiplied by 2.5, (10 x 2.5=25), and this number (25) will be subtracted from the total grade of the assignment (100 – 25 = 75). The maximum possible grade is now 75 %for this assignment.
