For online MAT courses, handheld calculators are NOT allowed for proctored exams.  No calculators are allowed for Test 1 and Test 2. A scientific calculator will  be enabled provided Honorlock for Test 3 and the Final and you will be able to access it by selecting the calculator button on the test taker toolbar at the bottom of the exam page.

If you miss assignments or tests due to acute illness or medical emergency, you must share acceptable documents from medical or other emergency service providers with the teacher, prior to the deadline if possible, or as soon as medically possible after the deadline. The Incomplete is a get out of jail free card. If I find at the end of the semester that I’m failing the class, I can request an incomplete. This will entitle me to extra study time so I can take the final exam later, make up for missed homework and perhaps even retake tests.

Photo ID Requirement for Online Students To verify your identity during exams, all online students must have an approved photo on file with Sun Devil Card Services. Submit your photo online using this link Check True below if you have already completed the Photo ID submission. Important: Students without approved photo on file with not be permitted to take exams in this course.  

Due dates for assignments are not a recommendation to do the assignment on that day. They merely represent the latest dates by which I’m allowed to finish assignments for course credit. Waiting until the due date to start assignments is not an academic success habit. When several assignments are due on the same day at the end of  week, that’s the teacher respecting the time constraints of students with jobs and families by refraining from micromanaging them. It is not an implied instruction to not work the assignments until that day.

Exams on which you do not show your face and full work area to the camera are considered unproctored and will earn a grade of zero.
