    A 79 year-old male patient comes into your clinic with a 4-day history of cough, chest congestion and low-grade fevers (last checked this morning was 100.5 orally). He has tried OTC cough suppressants and Tylenol with minimal symptom relief. This morning he developed slight DOE and reports “it is hard to take a deep breath”. His vital signs are: T: 100 (tympanic); P: 105; BP: 118/74; O2 (RA) 88%. Physical Exam findings include: fine crackles across the right lung base with consolidation to percussion across his posterior right mid-lung fields.  You order a chest x-ray and the findings are as above.
