We want to determine if having flexible assignment due dates…

We want to determine if having flexible assignment due dates reduces stress in college classes. In our History of 2020s class, the material is the same, but the due date and late policy differ across two sections of the class. In the intervention group, this class section has flexible assignment due dates and a lighter late policy. In contrast, the control group class section has set due dates and stricter late policy. Who would be the intended user or primary stakeholder of this intervention?

We have determined that we have reached epidemic levels of burnout in college students with school stress, housing stress, and food insecurity. We decide to pilot a program where we give students 500 dollars a month while they are enrolled in classes to help reduce some of the economic concerns for housing and food. They do not need to paid back this stipend. We also implement flexible due dates in classes. We want to determine if this program should be rolled out college or nationwide. Please discuss and define who would be in the comparison and intervention group? Make sure to utilize the scenario in the question in your answer. Please describe why we need to have both groups for this intervention. Which one do you think is most crucial? Why?

Extra credit –  You do not need to complete anything here as I will fill this out after the evaluation closes. If you cannot leave it empty, please just place a smiley face in the block.  It’s been a pleasure having you in class this semester. Have a great and relaxing summer break. Congrats graduates 🙂  Here is how we allot the extra credit: 0 points (Less than 49% of class takes it) .5 point (50 to 59% of the class takes it) 1 point (60-69% takes it) 2 points (70-79% takes it) 3 points (80-89% takes it) 4 points (90-99% takes it) 5 points (entire class takes it)

We find that those in the flexible due date group performs significantly worse than the standard late policy group and advise against this in future studies. What does this best describe in the social and political context of evaluation?

Opinion question (worth up to 1 point Extra Credit)  1a. (worth 1/2 a point) What do you suggest for a future project topic for the small group project topic? Though I have a running list of possible topics, I always ask students for future semester topics. 1b. (worth 1/2 a point) How do you think projects should be separated in future semester? Before and after the midterm or work on both projects throughout the semester. Why do you feel this way? This is the first time we split the semester project in half which is why I’m asking.

If we prevent the intervention group from missing days of work from stress and than they get better reviews, this will result in them getting promotions down the line with a higher salary. What type of monetizing benefits is this?

We have decided to restructure the current work week as we think it leads to unhealthy levels of  stress, burnout, and overload for adults. We have given the option to either have individuals continue with the current model of working 5 days (2 at home, 3 in office) or the option of  4 10-hour days (completely in the office).  Who would be in the comparison group?
