ROOM SCAN If yоu hаve gоtten this fаr, this meаns that yоu have already completed your ID Validation and Room Scan. Often, students do not complete a proper Room Scan when taking an Exam in Honorlock. Not completing ALL the requirements of the Room Scan can result in flagging a student exam which may cause the student to receive a zero grade on their exam. This question is designed to ensure that you are fully aware of all the requirements of a proper Room Scan. DIRECTIONS: Read through the Room Scan requirements below. Evaluate which requirements of the Room Scan that you followed and the requirements you did not follow. In the Answer Box, list the number (#) of the requirement(s) that you DID NOT follow during the Room Scan you did for this Practice Exam. Your score on this question, will be determined on whether the requirements you listed align with what I have viewed in the Honorolock video. I will provide notes on how to improve your Room Scan in the Assignment Comments. ROOM SCAN REQUIREMENTS: Room scan should be a complete 360o Room Scan including floor, ceiling and behind your computer. Student must be sitting at a desk, table or countertop (not on floor, bed, couch, etc.) to take test. If you do not have a quiet place to take test, you can set up a temporary "desk" in you room with boxes--get creative. Nothing should be on the desk or table where the student is testing except the computer used for testing, a writing utensil, eraser, approved calculator (without case), blank sheets of paper, and any other permitted materials listed in the testing instructions in MyHC/Canvas. Please remove sticky notes and/or cover paperwork on wall behind computer. Students are expected to be looking at their writing area or computer screen (not sideways) during the test. Webcam should be adjusted so that work area can be seen. Can I see your workspace with the paper and your hands? All sheets of paper used for an exam (including formula sheets, if applicable) should be clearly visible throughout the exam.
