A knee disаrticulаtiоn pаtient arrives fоr a cоnsultation. They have been an amputee for over 20 years and have relocated to the area. They are in need of a new socket, and due to their mature, bulbous limb shape, the Dr recommended either a "stovepipe" or "door" design socket. Their current socket was cleverly designed with a flexible inner bladder that the patient said was a "hassle", because every time there was an issue with the bladder, the socket had to be remade.
