The sources must convey the ideas/opinions of the writer/speaker, not merely state facts. The quotation(s) will be worth 10 % of the overall grade of the paper. The quotation cannot come in the introduction. A bonus point is awarded if the entire quotation is boldfaced for easy recognition. The quotation must clearly identify the speaker of the quote or writer of the article and must be a minimum of one sentence, a maximum of three. The source for the quote must also be identified, either in the sentence or following the sentence in parentheses (name of article, name of website, or both). Quotation marks must be used around the direct quote, and the quotation must be smoothly and grammatically integrated into the structure of the writer’s own sentence.
