The use оf а secоndаry device (e.g., cell phоne, tаblet, iPad, hand-held calculator, headphones, etc.) during each exam for any purpose, exam-related or otherwise, is considered a violation of the course's academic integrity policy. Students are expected to turn off and to leave all secondary devices in a different room, far out of reach, while taking an exam. Failure to do so may result in a loss of points on the exam, having to schedule future exams with an in-person proctor, and other possible disciplinary action, even if the device is not being used.
