Lisа Lаwyer (LL) аttends a neighbоrhооd BBQ and is introduced to Christy (CC), a woman who recently had her children removed from her custody by social services based on allegations of neglect.  Although LL has never practiced dependency law and knows nothing about representing parents who have had their children removed, she has empathy for Christy’s situation and listens to her hour-long rendition of the facts of her case, including Christy’s disclosure of her alcohol abuse.
