The patient is a 38-year-old male with bipolar disorder and PTSD. The patient has a long-standing history of hypertension and a long-standing history of cigarette smoking and using chewing tobacco. He fell and sustained a type I compound fracture of the neck of his right femur yesterday, and the patient was seen and admitted yesterday. Today, the patient was taken to the operating room, where an open reduction and internal fixation of the fracture of the right femur was performed. NOTE: This is worded as a long-standing history of hypertension and using chewing tobacco.
