Directions: Type the draft here. Quantity vs. Quality: You are mostly concerned with getting a nice first draft written–something that you can use to create a better final draft. If the writing has some mistakes and is not properly organized, that is “normal.” Paragraphs: You must have five (5) fully developed paragraphs. They should be a minimum of eight longer sentences but you may write twelve (12) per paragraphs. Time: Make sure you use the minimum allotted time; you are encouraged to use the full 120 minutes if you like. I strongly recommend this. Mirror: The positioning of the mirror on this assignment is key; make sure it is positioned correctly. One sitting: This is a draft for an essay and therefore you are encouraged to complete it in one sitting. What you can use: Please use a copy of the poem only; you may not use prewritten paragraphs or electronics. You should show this poem to the webcam.
