The MyOpenMath Introductory assignment, the three unit tests and the cumulative final exam are the only assessments in the course that are proctored. All students must use the proctoring service Honorlock to complete the quizzes and exams. The camera must be aimed properly at the student’s hands, face and workspace to avoid any suspicion of cheating (using a calculator, notes, or another person). Not doing so will earn the student a zero on the test. Please practice getting the correct camera angle (see syllabus for examples of proper camera angle). There are external cameras available for free to check out at the library. Prepare by clearing your desk of everything except your identification, paper, pencil and computer. You must show both sides of each sheet of paper as well as a clear view of the surface of your desk and behind the desk. Show there is nobody in the room by scanning around it. Sound and a working camera must be used. You may not leave the test once started. Honorlock will enter the access code to complete the test, students will never need to enter the access code to complete the test. Please click yes if you understand this.
