The narcotics unit then conducted a coordinated raid on Jabban’s office and other properties and seized vast quantities of blue milk and paraphernalia consistent with drug creation and trafficking. Sergeant Cal accompanied the officers on the raid to Jabban’s primary office. While searching the office, Cal ordered all of the employees to stand together in the parking lot and to not leave until the search was done. As the employees filed out, he noticed that Bob Fet, one of Jabban’s lieutenants, had a bulge under his jacket which Sergeant Cal immediately associated with a concealed firearm. Cal confronted Bob who stated that he had a concealed weapon license. Bob handed both the license and the firearm to Cal. Cal said that he was going to pat Bob down for officer safety anyway. Bob refused consent to any further search. Cal patted Bob down and felt another bulge in his pocket about the size of a cellphone. Sergeant Cal reached inside the pocket and withdrew a flip phone. He then physically inspected the device and realized that it was not really a phone, but actually a blue milk dispenser disguised as a phone. Sergeant Cal seized the fake phone and placed Bob under arrest. Jabban was arrested and charged with a slew of drug crimes and Bob was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and possession of a firearm while possessing drugs.
