                  A 64 year old male has a history of hypertension, chronic bronchitis and coronary artery disease. His chief complaint is SOB.  Physical exam shows HR of 132 and irregular, RR 28. His color is dusky, skin is cold and clammy to touch, with jugular vein distention present. Auscultation of the chest revels coarse crackles throughout. Patient is coughing frequently with intermittent production of pink, frothy secretions.  What does the RT suspect is the cause of the patient’s symptoms?
