Fоr the first questiоn оf this test, you аre required to verify thаt you hаve carefully reviewed and understood the instructions and requirements for this test including that: this test is closed book and the use of any resources is not allowed; you have performed an effective/comprehensive room scan (including showing your phone, that it was turned off, and placed out of reach, that your camera scan was slow to ensure quality video is captured, that for your scan you stood up and focused the camera/video scan on the areas where you will be seated for the test including chair, tabletop, and areas below, to the sides and facing forward); that your camera and microphone are working, turned on, and remain on for the entire room scan and test; that your test environment is well lit and distraction/interruption/noise free; that you do not have any drawers, clothing, blankets, clutter or objects within reach or accessible to you during the test where resources can be hidden and accessed during the test; that you are not wearing a watch or any earphones or listening devices; that your face, shoulders AND upper arms and body remain in full camera view throughout the test and that you are not allowed to wear any hats or attire (other than for religious reasons) that obscures your face and eyes; that you are not permitted to speak or talk out loud during the test; and that you are expected to keep your eyes focused on your test screen/monitor and any eye movements away from the center of your screen or unusual behaviors during the test could be grounds for alleged cheating on the test. In verifying this you acknowledge that your failure to follow ANY of the above requirements can reflect a deliberate intention to cheat on this test and can be grounds for you to be assigned a grade of 0 for this test and report to the vice-chairperson of the Arts & Sciences Academic Integrity Committee for further disciplinary consideration and action. Students who choose not to verify their acknowledgement and understanding of these instructions and requirements as posted for this test, and who are determined to engage in unusual behaviors/conduct or eye movements during their test, will be subject to violating academic integrity (i.e., cheating).
