You are the project manager for a medium size construction firm responsible for a $12 million office building. This project was scheduled to be completed in 16 months. Upper management is reviewing the job status reports at the end of month four (4), and the reports say that the value of the work completed is $2.6 million. In addition, an important milestone date, completion of the window installation, is currently projected to be three weeks behind schedule. All window activities are on the critical path. At this time (end of month 4) the window shop drawings have been approved by the Architect, but the manufacturer has not yet started fabricating the windows.
