Questions 18-22 refer to the prompt below. To better understand the mechanism, researchers studied the effects of the azithromycin on the proteome of P. aeruginosa. In order to do this they exposed multiple strains of P. aeruginosa to the azithromycin and compared the results to the same strains without antibiotic exposure. Below are results from a 2 dimensional gel electrophoresis. Figure 2.A: Example protein profile for P. aeruginosa.
