Your patient happily reports she is about 7 weeks pregnant but asks you to “go easy” on her today as she started having pelvic pain, low back pain, and shoulder pain today. When you asked further questions, she reports her pains are “pretty constant, dull pain but occasionally more intense.” She is not able to get into see her OBGYN for her first ultrasound until she is at 8 weeks gestation.
