Welcome to the HIST2003 Final Exam! As a reminder, this is a closed-book exam, which you will have two hours to complete. This exam contains three main sections, covering content from Units 1 through 13: (1) The first is a Multiple Choice Section composed of 10 multiple-choice and true/false questions, all of which you are required to answer. This section is worth 25% of your overall exam grade.  (2) The second section is a Short Answer and Definitions Section. Here you will choose any 4 out of 10 Short Answer question options. This section is worth 40% of your overall exam grade. (3) The third and final section is a Long Essay Question Section. Here you will be given 1 question that you will answer in the form of an evidence-based essay that contains a minimum of five paragraphs. This essay should take roughly 1/3 of the time allocated for the total exam and is worth 35% of your overall exam grade. (Bonus) Once you reach the end of the exam, you will have the opportunity to answer a bonus written-response question, worth up to an additional 5% towards your exam grade. Please only answer the bonus question once you answer the rest of the required sections and questions.    Good luck HIST2003, you will do great!
