A 74-year-old male presents to Urgent Care center complaining of “persistent heartburn.” The patient has not felt any relief after using OTC antacids or Zantac. He feels that the heartburn spreads over his entire chest and upper abdomen. Vital signs are normal. Blood work has been sent and results are pending.
