Lаte Wоrk-Once the аssignments/quizzes/exаms have clоsed they will nоt re-open. Late work=zero points One of my passions is designing courses that are very organized and easy to navigate for the student. I think it is important that from the very first day of class students know when all the assignments are due for the entire quarter. Students have seven days to complete the weekly course modules and because of this I do not accept late work. You are welcome to turn things in ahead of time if you would like. Once the assignments/quizzes/exams have closed they will not re-open. Late work=zero points. Assignment Submission PolicyAll assignments must be submitted through the designated submission area in Canvas by the posted due date and time. Submitting assignments in the “comment” section of a closed or graded assignment is not permitted and will not be accepted for credit. Comments are not a substitute for assignment submission and are intended only for clarifying questions or communication with the instructor. Assignments posted in comments after a due date will be disregarded and treated as late or missing. To receive credit, students must use the official submission link before the deadline. If you experience technical difficulties that prevent you from submitting on time, you must contact me immediately (before the deadline when possible) by email or text so we can make arrangements. Absences Due to Emergency Injury or Death in the Family Students who are unable to complete coursework due to an emergency injury, or death in the family family must notify the instructor as soon as possible. To be considered for extensions, make-up work, or other accommodations, students are required to provide appropriate documentation. Acceptable forms of documentation include, but are not limited to: Medical documentation such as a doctor’s note, urgent care or hospital visit summary An obituary, funeral program, or official travel itinerary (e.g., airline ticket) related to a funeral or memorial service Requests without documentation may not be granted. The instructor reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of documentation and accommodations.
