Pick one global challenge and critically answer why this is a problem, the effect this has on patient care and service, and what needs to be done to improve it? Following this, choose one style of leadership you see in contemporary clinical practice and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this style. Indicate how it may affect the staff you are leading and what the outcomes of using this style usually are. With reference to the Mid Staffordshire enquiry, identify at least 5 inadequacies within the Trust that was highlighted, and discuss the impact of this in relation to clinical governance.
