Depаrtmentаl Prоject: The student will be respоnsible fоr submitting а project on their chosen constitutional right. This project will examine your constitutional rights through the exploration of the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the ability to analyze issues and policies in American politics (This project covers Learning Objectives 7, 8). No part of previously submitted assignments from GOVT 2305/2306 courses can be used- No credit will be given for "recycled" answers/responses from previous Project submissions. The Project must be properly cited using APA format- Citations do not count towards word counts. The student must address the following questions:1) Choose and explain a constitutional right from the U.S. Constitution- be sure to explain why it is a civil liberty or civil right (At least 100 words). You need to pick from Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, or the Right to Bear Arms. These are all civil liberties. 2) Choose and discuss a U.S. Supreme Court case that relates to your chosen constitutional right- be sure to explain how/why it is relevant (At least 100 words). You will choose either Kennedy V. Bremerton School District or New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen3) Discuss a current policy or issue impacted by your chosen constitutional right (At least 100 words).Additional Requirements:Each component should have it's own paragraph for this projectA minimum of 2 (properly formatted) citations are required for this project.
