Aurelius has recently sought help from a clinician for symptoms he’s been experiencing over the past year. He reports feeling increasingly irritable and snapping at his friends, family, and subordinates. He has been experiencing a lot of muscle pain and overall tension in his body. He has been having difficulty concentrating on his work, a fact he attributes mostly to poor sleep. He has been waking up a lot during the night. Aurelius admits he is under a lot of pressure at work and that he has busy ensuring the success of an upcoming festival. His symptoms existed before the festival preparation began but have gotten worse. Though Aurelius worries about the success of the upcoming festival, he also worries about his job, his relationship with his brother, Argenis, the safety of his family and friends, and the uncertainties the future holds. About a month ago, Aurelius experienced his first panic attack during a heated confrontation with his brother.
