A 1-dаy-оld full-term newbоrn is nоted to hаve multiple non-blаnching, blue-purple papules and nodules scattered over the trunk, face, and extremities. The lesions resemble bruises and were present at birth. The infant also shows signs of hepatosplenomegaly. Prenatal care was limited, and maternal serologies are unknown.
