CASE #15: Betty is а 70-yeаr-оld wоmаn whо presents to the ER with complaints of blurry vision. Although the deterioration of her eyesight has been progressing over the last several years, she became nervous that it meant she was having a stroke. She states that her right eye is worse than her left and that objects “keep getting fuzzier” and worsened drastically over the past few weeks. She reports that her left eye is susceptible to glare and she sees “halos around lights.” Patient has history of Type 2 diabetes but no other major health issues. Vital signs and bloodwork were all within normal ranges and no other signs of stroke were present.  What is your initial diagnosis?
