Ogallala Aquifer extends from Nebraska and South Dakota down to the panhandle region of west Texas.  It is the largest fresh water aquifer in the world and is used to irrigate a large percent of the grain crops in the nation.  Because of the Federal tax being imposed on use of this interstate water, It is being recharged (replaced) by rainfall infiltration at a rate that will insure ample water supplies during you and your grandchildrens lifetime.
