Criminal justice issues are frequently focused on the people employed in the criminal justice system (e.g. law enforcement, corrections employees, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, etc.), rather than people “outside” the criminal justice system, including the public. Based on your learning in this course (and using specific examples from our course materials), discuss the issues/topics we’ve explored in which the role of people “outside” the CJ system, including the public is an important/influential one that ought to be a major part of any discussion of that issue/topic.*** Remember that copying/pasting from any course materials (other than your own words in the Prep Guide), the internet, or using generative AI like ChatGPT to help “write” or “proofread” or “improve” your answer violates my Academic Integrity policy.
