Demonstrate that you do not have any applications open (other than this web browser): For PC Users (not Macs or Chromebooks): Open the Task Manager by pressing control + alt + delete all at the same time. Click on “Task Manager.” Under “Apps,” close all applications except your web browser by right-clicking each application, and selecting “End Task.” Close the Task Manager, and return to the exam. For Chromebook Users: Open the Task Manager by pressing search + escape all at the same time (the escape key may be abbreviate “esc”). Under “Apps,” close all applications except your web browser by right-clicking each application, and selecting “End Task.” Close the Task Manager, and return to the exam. For Mac Users: Open the Finder by pressing command + option + escape all at the same time (alternatively, you can click the little Apple-shaped icon in the upper left of your screen). Click “Force Quit” to show all the apps that are currently open on your machine. With the exception of your web browser and Finder, select each of the other apps and select “Force Quit” to close them. Return to the exam.
