Dr. Celaya, a local veterinary respiratory disease specialist, is seeing “Dawn”, a 6 year-old, female, spayed, Domestic Shorthair with a documented history of asthma. Dawn’s owner, Ms. Diaz, had been using an Aerokat® device with 2 different metered dose inhalers (MDIs). Ms. Diaz misplaced the corticosteroid MDI she usually uses and Dr. Celaya is out of it; so, instead of the usual inhalant corticosteroid, Dr. Celaya is going to administer a long-acting corticosteroid that should help Dawn for about 4-8 weeks. The drug she will administer is most likely
