Use the fоllоwing stоry to аnswer the next questions. John is new to bowling, аnd he аsked you for some advice on bowling etiquette. John says that the last time he bowled, he arrived on time to meet his team, wore his bowling shoes into the bowling alley and even brought clean socks. When John was looking for a ball that would be a good fit, he knew he needed a 13-lb ball. John saw a 13-lb ball that looked like it had the right span for him on the return of another party’s game. John went over to the ball return, picked up the ball he wanted, made sure that it was a proper fit, and then told the party at that ball return that he needed the ball for a league game. John had worn his bowling shoes to the alley, so he didn’t have to worry about street shoes, but he did make sure to keep his hoodie that he had taken off tucked away under his chair. Partway through John’s team’s game, during a pause in the action, a bowler from another party named Natalie asked if John’s team was using a red 8-lb house ball that was on their return. John’s team wasn’t using the ball, so they let Natalie take it. When John went to the lane to take his turn bowling, another bowler was midway through their approach when John started his approach. The other bowler missed their spare and John wondered how someone could be so bad at bowling. John’s ball had been just right and he bowled a strike, which caused John to do his celebratory victory dance from one side of the bowling hall to the other, running through all the approaches, but being careful not to bump any other players. Toward the end of the game, John had such a huge lead that he felt okay about having fun with his last bowl, so he lofted the ball for a good laugh.
