Given the PAM250 scoring matrix, two protein sequences, and an indel penalty of 3, perform a local alignment of the two sequences. To get full credit for the question, you must do the following: show all your work, show your final scoring matrix, and show your final backtrack matrix. Your backtrack matrix should use the following numbers: -1 from the source, 0 for moving down the diagonal, 1 for moving down, and 2 for moving to the right. Construct your matrices with the first sequence represented by columns (i.e., on top) and the second by rows (i.e., on the side). You may not choose to break ties arbitrarily. Prioritize ties in the following order: source, down, right, and diagonal. Show the path you use through the backtrack matrix to construct the aligned sequences (if you choose to type your solution, mark your path by making the cells in the path bold, a different color, or highlighted). If you choose to write on a piece of paper as opposed to typing in your work, hold the paper up to the camera, pause, move it a little closer and then a little further away, and pause each time. Canvas has a timer, so please note the time of the exam you hold up your answer so I know when in the proctor video to look for your solution. QQCDARWRQPCDAC
