I am on an airplane with my child and he asks for more candy. I say “no” because he has already had a lot of candy that day and he starts fussing/whining. Everybody on the plane is looking at me, so I give him the candy and he stops crying. On the next flight, he cries for candy again and I give it to him again. Which of the following is correct in relation to the behavioral processes maintaining my behavior and my child’s behavior?
