At that meeting, the president described the company and department functions. The president also discussed the company’s culture. Shortly thereafter, the interns each met with their respective internship managers and coworkers. Jose met with his manager, Edwin, who outlined his specific job tasks and responsibilities for the next eight weeks. Edwin also explained the standing plans that relate to his specific responsibilities. After their meeting, Edwin invited Jose to join him and his new coworkers at a nearby restaurant for lunch.
