Kyle is a 46-year-old man who presents with complaints of inability to smile on the right side of his face. The symptoms first began this morning and now he is unable to smile on the right side of his face. He thinks he may have been bit by a bug or “something” that has caused his problem. He also complains of being lightheaded and “out of kilter”. Exam reveals inability to lift right side of mouth to smile, able to raise both eyebrows, otherwise exam of cranial nerves is within normal limits. PMH: Hypertension, Type II DM, Hyperlipidemia.
