Yоu аre the principаl оf а medium-sized urban elementary schоol, and you've noticed a growing need to empower your teachers and staff to become more active decision-makers in the school's operations. The school has a diverse student body, including students from various cultural backgrounds and learning needs. While you value the expertise and dedication of your team, you recognize that fostering a more collaborative and participatory culture will lead to better outcomes for both students and staff. In recent years, you've received feedback from teachers and staff about feeling disconnected from key decision-making processes, which has led to frustration and reduced morale. As the principal, you understand the importance of distributing decision-making power more equitably, promoting a sense of ownership among your team members, and leveraging their collective knowledge to drive positive changes in the school. However, you also acknowledge that implementing such a cultural shift will require careful planning, communication, and support to ensure a successful transition towards a more empowered and engaged workforce. Your challenge is to develop a comprehensive organizational development plan that addresses these issues and lays out a roadmap for enhancing the school's decision-making processes while maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment. Make sure to proofread your work.
Rооm Setup аnd Scаn The purpоse of the room setup аnd room scan is to ensure that the testing environment for online testing is comparable to on-campus, in-person testing. You must be seated at a desk or table (not on a bed or floor). The only items allowed on your desk is your computer, writing utensils, and up to two blank sheets of paper. You may not have any unauthorized items in your workspace, to include notes, books, calculators, cell phones or other electronic devices, headphones, additional monitors, smartwatches, etc. The room must be well lit. No other persons are in the room. Your room scan must show all of the criteria are met. During your room scan, you need to slowly and thoroughly rotate your camera around your entire room to show a clear view of your entire desk and the area and walls around and behind your desk. Hold up your blank scrap paper and show it is blank on the front and back sides. If needed, see the video: How to Do a Room Scan. If the instructor cannot confirm that these requirements have been met, then you may receive a 0 on the test. If your room setup is not correct, FIX IT NOW (so you pass this quiz!) Questions (enter your responses in the textbox below): 1. What is allowed on your desk during testing? 2. Is your current room and desk set up correctly for testing? (Again, if your answer is no, FIX IT NOW, else you will not pass this quiz and have to repeat it).
