You get dressed, head out the door, and start walking to Benny's. When you get to the location of the bagel place, you are shocked to discover that Benny's is no longer there. Apparently, the small business "Benny's Bagel Barn" has been bought out by a larger conglomerate. It's now an "Irving's Bagel." "Oh well," you think. "Maybe another time." When you turn around, you read the street sign and realize that you're on "Washington Street." "Irving's on Washington," you laugh to yourself. Then you stop. You're stunned. "Irving on Washington -- this can't be! Didn't I read Washington Irving in the same literature class that I read A Raisin in the Sun?" You run home to check your notes. When you get home and find your notebook, your suspicions are confirmed. In fact, you did read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. As you flip through the pages of notes, you discover that you read several other interesting short stories that semester, as well. You think to yourself, "Well, since I drafted an essay the last time I walked by the bagel shot, I might as well try doing it again. Afterall, it's fun to remember what I learned in that class."
