Question 2 – Networks Your family decides to set up a small network in your home. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, both of your parents, your sister, who is at university and yourself, a GC student, are working and studying at home. Because you are studying Computer Science, they are looking to you for advice on setting up the network. Each member of the family has their own laptop and their own smartphone which will need to be part of the home network. 2.1 You need to decide how to connect the different devices to the network. 2.1.1 What type of network will this be? (1) 2.1.2 If this network can connect to the internet, does it alter the type chosen in 2.1.1 above? Motivate. A simple yes/no without the motivation will not earn marks.
