Amаn аnd Bill оwn а ranch, jоintly. Aman writes Carrie, his fiancee, a signed nоte giving her “the right to come on the ranch and hike as long as I own the ranch.” Carrie is so excited that she rushes right out and buys a new pair of hiking boots. When Bill hears about what Aman did, he writes Carrie a letter telling her that despite what Aman said, she is not to come on the ranch. One day while Bill is out walking, he sees a deer grazing on the ranch. Bill runs to his pick-up truck and grabs his gun. As Bill is lining up the deer in his sights, a shot rings out from another part of the ranch. Hit, the deer drops dead. Bill runs up and stands over the deer. Out of the thicket, Carrie strolls up with her gun still smoking. Carrie takes the deer and sells it.When Bill writes Carrie and tells her that despite what Aman said, she is not to come on the ranch:
