Ryаn Christоpher is а full-time electriciаn whо wоrks for Dyers Electric Company, forty hours per week, performing various tenant improvements as commercial buildings and sites throughout Southern California. He is 61 years old and has been an electrician for over 35 years. He sometimes freelances as an electrician on his own time for general contractors in the area. On April 24, 2024, he began working on a job assigned for him by his supervisor from Dyers Electric Company at a commercial property in Santa Ana, California. On April 26, 2024, while working installing electrical wiring, he was electrocuted. He was taken by ambulance by paramedics to a local hospital to be evaluated. He was discharged home the same day of the electrocution. As a result of the electrocution injury, he lost several months of work and received ongoing medical treatment. He also lost some of his memory and cognitive functioning. He advised his supervisor at Dyers Electric Company of the  incident of  April 26, 2024 on May 10, 2024. He was provided a claim form on May 11, 2024 and directed by his supervisor to fill it out and return it to the human resources department at Dyers Electric Company. He was also instructed to go to the industrial clinic used by Dyers Electric Company for further medical care and evaluation.
