This week we аre tаlking аbоut wоunds. Unfоrtunately when working in this field you will see some seriously inhumane circumstances. I remember this one patient that had come in with rubber bands embedded in its skin on the tail ears and all four limbs. I have seen wounds from keeping a pet outside on a chain where the collar has become a part of the skin around the neck, I have seen pets that come in with dog fighting wounds from being a bait dog. It will really tug at your heart strings.    At what point do you feel it is the veterinary hospitals duty to report an abused animal? What are the laws on this as a veterinary practice ? If the hospital would not let you report them would you do it anyways, even if you were risking your job? MINIMUM OF 150 WORDS

Simplified Emergency Medicine Scenаriо with Cоllisiоn Detаils Tаsk: Prioritize treatment Incident: A four-car accident occurs at an intersection. Here’s how the cars are positioned and collide: Car 1 is stopped at a red light in the straight lane. Car 2, driving behind Car 1, fails to stop and crashes into the back of Car 1. The impact from Car 2 causes Car 1 to push forward into Car 3, which is traveling straight in the adjacent lane but is not at the intersection yet. Car 4 is approaching from the opposite direction and turns left at the intersection without yielding, colliding with the side of Car 1. Additional information: Car 1 (Stopped at a red light)had two passengers | Car 2 (Driving behind Car 1) | Car 3 (In the adjacent lane) | Car 4 (Colliding with the side of Car 1) Learning Outcome: This simple scenario allows students to  prioritize treatment easily.
