The sоftwаre interfаce is оnly pаrt оf a product's user interface. And that product fits within a larger system in which the product is only one subsystem. A typcial system in which this moble might be used would be: you are drving along in your car talking to your significant other on your hand free speakerphone (a phone with a built in speaker so there is no Bluetooth device involved).
