These then cross the pelvic brim to become the arteries. Elastic arteries become muscular arteries become the smaller . These continue to get smaller until there are metarterioles which then lead to capillaries. Capillaries rejoin to form . These continue to combine to make first small veins then larger veins. Eventually fusing into the vena cava which flows into the right atrium.
