Using the “I” language technique (it has 3 parts) you were taught in this class (instead of the “you” language that makes others defensive and/or angry), write how you would approach the person in the following scenario. Write it just like you would SAY it to them.   A member of your household (whom you love dearly) has come in much later than expected and on a particularly bad weather evening. You’ve asked them several times before to let you know via text or phone call if they are going to be longer than “normal”.
