We want to determine if having flexible assignment due dates reduces stress in college classes. In our History of 2020s class, the material is the same, but the due date and late policy differ across two sections of the class. In the intervention group, this class section has flexible assignment due dates and a lighter late policy. In contrast, the control group class section has set due dates and stricter late policy. If we prevent the intervention group from missing days of work from stress and than they get better reviews, this will result in them getting promotions down the line with a higher salary.
