Show your work!) What is your PPF's shape? Is it a straight line or does it have a bowed outward shape? Justify! Suppose that a new tariff is imposed on steel, affecting the production of both bicycles and cars, as importing steel becomes more expensive. Illustrate this effect on your PPF map!

Jоhnny wаs recently releаsed оn pаrоle (after a stint for vehicle theft) and found himself out of work and out of money. He met up with his long-time partner, Steve, to find work. Johnny and Steve decide to rob the local dollar store to support their nefarious activities. In anticipation of the robbery, Johnny and Steve covered their faces with ski masks, armed themselves with pistols, and dressed in all black. They entered the dollar store as the store was closing for the night. Johnny, using his pistol as a weapon, demanded money from the cash register.  Meanwhile, Steve stood by the door to prevent any customers from coming inside.  Unbeknownst to Johnny and Steve, the store owner had a shotgun hidden next to the cash register.  While the store owner was opening the register, he picked up the shotgun and shot quickly Johnny in the stomach. Johnny and Steve fled the store when the store owner started shooting. Johnny’s wound was too significant; he slumped to the ground as they fled. Johnny later died from the gunshot wound. Steve got away, but only temporarily. Police arrested Steve the next day. Steve confessed to the robbery but said no one was supposed to get injured or killed. Steve also told the police that he thought the guns were fake. Can Steve be charged with homicide for Johnny’s death under Alaska Law?  Explain why or why not, including what (if any) theories of homicides apply.

Dоlly hаtes her jоb. The jоb hаs no future аnd her boss is a pig. She decides she cannot take anymore and begins planning for her boss’ demise. Dolly spends weeks thinking about the best way to kill her boss, but not get caught. Dolly remembers that her boss has a terrible tree nut allergy, which she knows is linked to anaphylaxis. Dolly knows that if her boss eats anything with tree nuts, he will suffer a serious, rapid-onset allergic reaction that will be fatal (Dolly knows that it will be fatal because her boss has told her it is fatal). Dolly decides to make her boss her famous “Dolly's Apple Pie”, but secretly adds crushed almonds and walnuts into the recipe.  Dolly does this with the specific intent to kill her boss. The next day, Dolly brings the apple pie to work and gives an extra big piece to her boss.  As her boss starts to take a bite, Dolly has a change of heart. She jumps up and runs to try and take the pie out of her boss’ hands.  At the same time, however, her boss decides the apple pie smells funny and throws it away.  Her boss discovers Dolly’s plot to kill her and reports her to the police. Dolly confesses her plan to the police but tells them that she changed her mind at the last minute and she didn't intend to go through with it. Is Dolly guilty of attempted murder?  Explain why or why not.
