EXAM аnd HONORLOCK RULES & POLICIESExаms must be cоmpleted individuаlly. Cоllabоration with any other person is strictly prohibited.Once you begin the exam, the timer will start automatically and cannot be paused or restarted for any reason.All academic integrity policies apply fully. The use of unauthorized materials, notes, websites, AI tools, calculators not explicitly allowed, or any form of external assistance is prohibited.The exam must be taken in a quiet, private environment. Students must remain silent for the entire duration of the exam and comply with all Honorlock proctoring requirements.Students are strictly prohibited from speaking, whispering, mouthing words, or reading questions or answer choices aloud. Any such behavior will be treated as a violation of exam integrity and academic misconduct.The use or possession of a second electronic device is not permitted at any time during the exam. This includes, but is not limited to, phones, tablets, smart watches, headphones, earbuds, secondary monitors, or another computer. Any violation of this rule will result in a score of zero on the exam without further investigation.Before beginning the exam, students must remove hats, hoods, headphones, earbuds, and any similar items that may obstruct the face, ears, or head.Students are required to complete a full 360 degree room scan at the beginning of the exam, clearly showing the desk surface, surrounding area, walls, and floor. The testing space must be free of notes, books, writing on surfaces, or any unauthorized materials.During the exam, students must remain fully visible on camera at all times. Leaving the camera view, covering the camera, looking off screen for extended periods, or obstructing the webcam may be flagged for review.All exam submissions and proctoring records, including webcam video, audio, and screen recordings, will be reviewed by the instructor and may be subject to further investigation.The instructor reserves the right to require a student to retake the exam in person or in a live online proctored session if exam integrity is in question.Any violations of these exam rules will be handled in accordance with North Dakota State University Policy 335: Code of Academic Responsibility and Conduct, as outlined in this syllabus.
