You are caring for a 3 day old term infant with transient tachypnea of the newborn. You are called to the bedside by the RN to assess this female infant for red and edematous labia, no urine output and s/s of pain. Upon examination you also note distention of the vagina. What test do you anticipate will be necessary to aid in the diagnosis of these abnormal findings?
