As a consultant, your first task after planting is to evaluate your clients’ stand. That means it’s time for stand counts. How many plants/acre does your client have if you count plants in 10 feet of row on -inch rows? Report your answer to the nearest whole plant. Do not report fractions of a plant. Remember, do not round your math prematurely: If you want an answer accurate to 6 digits, all the steps in your math must also be accurate to 6 digits.
